En lisant la fiche technique d'un travel uke de Flight j'ai appris l'existence des cordes Aquila Sugar.

The sound of these strings is clearly brilliant, clean and prompt.
Unlike the Fluorocarbon strings, Sugar strings have an excellent vibrato and a significant timbre variation when changing the right hand position from near to the bridge to over the sound hole. In other words, in their extremes, they contain both the sweetness and melodiousness of Nylon and the brightness and promptness typical of Fluorocarbon. Another important property is the characteristic sustain, which by scientific measurements is superior to any type of string currently available in the market. Another feature that has been measured is the sound power: our scientific tests have shown that it is superior to that of Fluorocarbon strings.
Although the surface is extremely smooth, the grip on the fingers is remarkable.

Ça semble plein de promesses, comme j'ai commandé le uke de voyage en question je pourrai bientôt poser les doigt dessus. En attendant je suis intéressé par vos retours si vous les avez déjà testées.

Salut Bernie, ton commentaire est plutôt positif mais à cause du smiley j'ai du mal à l'interpréter  :-'

tout comme toi (et grâce à toi) je découvre l'existence de ces cordes
c'est juste le terme de "sugar" qui me fait évoquer la douceur  :-\

mais je ne pensais pour autant que les autres cordes étaient trempées dans la toiles émeri

en fait c'est toi qui pourras le mieux nous en parler quand tu auras reçu ton travel

Je connais de nom j'ai failli en commander et je crois que de mauvaise critiques (lues je ne sais plus où) m'en ont dissuadé...mais ce n'est qu'un vague souvenir et rien ne vaudra ton retour d'expérience pour nous éclairer...
